Mateusz Hołda

Biography

Mateusz specialises in company law, mergers and acquisitions, and matters relating to the operation of public companies. His work focuses on analysing the legal and financial position of companies and advising them, particularly public-interest entities.

He is involved in preparing documentation for public offerings and private placements, incentive schemes and M&A transactions. He also has experience in competition and consumer-protection matters, including merger-control proceedings, restrictive agreements — including cartels — and abuse of a dominant position.

Mateusz is a co-author of the C.H. Beck commentary on the Sanctions Act, published as part of the second edition of Ustawa o przeciwdziałaniu praniu pieniędzy oraz finansowaniu terroryzmu. Ustawa sankcyjna. Komentarz, edited by M. Dyl and M. Królikowski (Warsaw, 2024). He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He is a Trainee Advocate and member of the Warsaw Bar Association, and an alumnus of the 18th edition of the Capital Market Leaders Academy organised by the Lesław A. Paga Foundation.
