Mateusz Tyszka

Biography

Mateusz’s professional interests focus on criminal law, particularly white-collar crime, fiscal criminal law, and criminal and disciplinary medical law. He graduated with distinction in law and philosophy from the University of Warsaw.

He is the author of academic publications on criminal law, constitutional law and the philosophy of law. Since October 2024, he has been a doctoral student at the University of Warsaw’s Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, where he pursues research at the intersection of legal studies and philosophy. Since January 2025, he has been a Trainee Advocate at the Warsaw Bar Association and is a member of its Criminal Law and Procedure Section.

Mateusz is a co-author of the second edition of Ustawa o przeciwdziałaniu praniu pieniędzy oraz finansowaniu terroryzmu. Ustawa sankcyjna. Komentarz, edited by M. Dyl and M. Królikowski (Warsaw, 2024).
